The Boys
Brigade is a uniformed youth organization for boys, founded
in Glasgow in 1883.
It is run by Christian volunteers and all companies are attached
to local churches.
However there is no requirement or pressure for any member to
be a Christian, but our ethos and activities are based along
Christian lines.

The Gloucestershire Battalion |
The Gloucestershire Battalion has been active in Gloucestershire
for nearly 50 Years, and has a proven track record of excellent
activities including, sports competitions, general knowledge
quiz's,canoeing, Awards classes, table tennis, and even the
yearly Battalion Camp, a variety that we feel no other youth
organization can equal.

The advancement of Christ's kingdom among boys, and the promotion
of habits of reverence, discipline, self-respect, and all
that tends towards a true Christian manliness.

We offer all of the above and more to boys who's age ranges
from :-
Anchor Boys - for Boys aged 6 - 8 years
Junior Section - for Boys aged 8 - 11 years
Company Section - for Boys aged 11 - 15 years
Seniors - for young men aged 15 - 19 years
